    Daily Stats Additions

    In the http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/FFRStats/daily.php I was thinking that there are two additions that can be added on.

    1. A "Best record" or "Top 10/100/1000" for each stat. The best would go under the headings (Games played, Grand total, AAA's Perfects, Arrows etc...) and would show the most games played in a day or the most AAA's gotten or the most arrows hit.
    Its just another little thing that people could aim for. By having top 10 or 100 it gives more people a chance to get in the record books.

    2. An award or whatever that would show up in your profile or somewhere for being no.1 on a paticular stat for a paticular day. eg. "Synthlight played the most games on 1/1/1 with 1000 games."
    Agian its something to aim for, another reason to play ffr or another challenge.

    Personally I know I would love both of these features so let me know what you think.

                  actually, i've suggested #1 to LD/Jason about 8 times so far. i've been told that that data is being recorded... just hasn't been display'd yet.

                      If there were going to be any kind of "trophy" things, I think it would make more sense for them to be single-issue accomplishments, especially for things that can change later.

                      Shash should have a trophy for having an average rank < 2, even though he isn't anymore. getting into the top 1000/500/250/100/10 for grand total, games played, AAAs, Average etc might also be worthwile. You'd get the little notifier the first time you achieved the goal, and it would persist even if you later fell short of the requirement.

                          I will talk to LD about it too. I do think we should keep this alive as I do think these are good ideas.

                              This seems good to me, the only problem is stuff like this:
                              Most games played each day=whoever started a song and booed out repeatedly the most.
                              Most AAAs each day=whoever played Excite Bike the most times.
                              Etc.

                                  well, yes. the IMPORTANT ones would be highest GTS, notes hit, and perfects.

                                  the others are just kinda MEH. but, people will go for them.

                                      Thats the point, people arent going to be fooled by someone having a 1000 game plays in a day to thinking they are skilled players but it means that less skilled ppl have something they CAN do.

                                      Devonin: those ideas are also cool, but I was featuring mine around the daily stats. Those could also go in the same "awards/accomplishment" section.

                                          The trick to awards for daily stats that are visible is that you'd either have to list the categories followed by how many times they've won, instead of showing an icon for each instance:

                                          Awards:

                                          Daily Highscore: 10
                                          Daily AAA champ: 4
                                          Daily Perfects Champ: 25

                                          Or you'd have to make a seperate page that would be incredibly hard on the eyes and difficulty to parse for the really good poeple who'd be winning 8 or 9 a week every week forever.

                                          It is really funny for games like this, how much "Value Added" stuff can be put in simply by sorting and displaying the information that is already recorded.

                                              Im happy with that, but perhaps with a dropdown box showing the dates they won it. Similar to Summerschools Teir Point page in the way his "requirements" come down.
