    What Dance Pad Do You Have?

    Not sure if there has been a similar thread to this but if so you can lock this one.

    I recently bought 2 React dance pads at Best-Buy for $80 a piece and they work pretty good, imo. They have about 2 1/2 inches of foam layer and a cord with extra protective material thats attached all around the cord and its a universal pad so it can work on X-box, PS2, and Gamecube. A while back I owned another universal (can't remember the name of it) it slid everywhere when you played a 7 step and up and the button timing was horrible. So what I want to know is what kind of dance pad you have/use and its details/features and in your opinion, is it a good/bad dance pad?

      TX-6000 Blade.

      About $300 bucks off Ebay I think

      Works amazingly well, though the bar is crappy and broke within 2 weeks of having the pad. It's nice and metal, 4 screws so it's easy to take apart and clean. I'd definitely recommend it.

              Yea I've seen that model at the Lounge 51 (internet gaming center) downtown when me and a couple buddies go to play DDR ever once and a while, it's a pretty nice pad

                                  The pad got here in a few days. The control box got lost in the mail, but the second one they sent got here pretty quickly as well. The pad comes by Fedex, the control box by USPS.

                                      Wish I could say I had a metal pad. I work at an arcade and I repair the ITG2 pads often, so I don't doubt that I would be able to keep it for a long time. All my friends said their metal pads broke within a few months.

                                          An old modified Topway third party soft pad, which I believe was bought at least six years ago. It's still functional. It looks something like this:

                                          Many people today play DDR Extreme, DDR Supernova and later. But I still play 1st and 2nd mix in the arcades. Too bad for me.

                                                  EDIT: Oh yea, a third party Pelican soft pad. Not too good, the down button is kinda screwy and randomly misses. Having little money to spend on dance pads leads to 6 broken pads, with an additional 2 that was apart of a f***ed up shipment of Universal dance pads by WildCatz. Didn't want to get the PS2 only pad. It was a girly purple color.

                                                      I have the regular foam Konami pad that comes with the bundles for DDR Extreme 2. Classy I know.
