I need help with Cheat Engine 5.3

I need help with my Cheat Engine 5.3! I've tryed using it on a number of games (not FFR),and when i multiply the number i want to cheat by 8 and put it in the scan area and scan it, it comes up with addresses like its supposed to. but whenever i try to find the exact adress by lowering or increasing the number in the game, and then i multiply it by 8 and put it in the scan area and hit next scan...it doesn't come up with any adresses and says that 0 are found! Plz help me ! and anyone who does help...thank you!
