Even a remote possibility? I'm not sure how much such a thing should cost, I'd imagine at least 80 bucks, but I think for a lot of people it would be more inticing to pay one lump sum and never have to think about it again, than to have to pay 35 bucks a year, every year, ad infinitum.

i think that the reason that they don't do that is because then they wouldn't get a continuous pay from people on FFR who really want to be subscribers..

Well, a year would be long enough to forget about it. I don't think this is a good idea only because FFR isn't getting a continuous pay.
Besides, how many years are you talking? Eventually you will forget about FFR (unless you are a die-hard fan), and if the subscribtion renews itself, then you're paying for something you don't do. Unless, you DO remember and cancel it yourself...
