An ITG Machine Annoyied me the other day/My encounter with racisim

Figured I better not make two threads.

So I went to a ITG machine I knew about, that I had played about 4 months prior. So I happened to be at this arcade, and I was all pumped to play it, and I saw it had turned into a DDR Machine. What's worse is that it was version two or something.

Immediately next to the machine was a DDR Extreme machine. This pissed me off. I'm all for DDR(stretches out to a wider audience, more playable for most people), but this was just stupid. I decided, "What the hell" and played it, only to find there were no speed mods. I passed my first song with a D, then went to some random Paranoia, one I hadn't played yet, and failed it due to the lack of speed mods. Really freaking pissed me off.

    Ok, racisim:

I had come back from the beach with my dad and his friend and her niece. Let's call the niece Sue. So we got back into the car and as we pulled out Sue said, "I'm glad we got out when we did!" At that time, some African American homeless people walked by. I couldn't believe what I heard, thanks to Chardish's preaching. So I asked, "Why?" and she gave me a look that said, "Are you crazy? Why the heck aren't you racist?"

You probably didn't read all that. Oh well.

Early DDR mixes require codes inputted through the dance pad for speedmods. Like PIU.

I did...that DDR machine may have been worse than ones I encounter with which I have non-responsive rubber buttons and is a home version inside a 1st Mix box.

It had the ITG banner, but it was the machine version.

        And thanks Dore.

Wow version 2? Never played that one, I played 5th mix and the later ones, and I just now started playing ITG2 it's pretty fun, but I don't use speed mods unless it's a really slow song like Orion.

Version 2 is much like 2nd mix. In fact, 2nd mix is the only latest DDR here nearest to my place.
Many people today play DDR Extreme, DDR Supernova and later. But I still play 1st and 2nd mix in the arcades. Too bad for me.

            .

            PRESENT DAY
Man: I'm going to play DDR 1st Mix today.
Man 2: SO what? I'm playing Supernova 2 today.
Man: What the hell is Supernova?
Man 2: Go back to the 60's, noob.

umm... speed mods didnt even exist untill Max.

What your thinking of is the other mods. i.e. shuffle, dark, reverse etc.

Also, on 1st,2nd, and 3rd (I think those 3), you needed to input a pad code to get SSR mode (i.e. Heavy).
