    FAKES in the ranks

Edit: Don't bother flaming just because you want to argue against the facts. Like I said, I expect people to cling to the idea of a gamer girl like grim death. Wanting something to be real doesn't make it so.

I double-posted in the chit chat forum, without realizing of course, and a kind panda came along to help me out.

Let's face it: when a girl is a gamer, she's automatically popular. If this girl is attractive and posts pictures, then she's practically a queen, and anyone laying the mildest criticism on her gets flamed to death by her horny followers.

This said, I have (debatably) proven "i love you" and "BasketballX" are the same person. All I did was track each of their IP addresses, separately, and guess what?

"i love you" and "BasketballX" have the same IP address, down to the Node. What are the chances of that? Well, since every connection uses a different IP address... NONE.

What does this mean? Somehow, these allegedly two different people are on the same computer at the exact same time.

I haven't bothered informing "i love you" that HE has been found out, but instead offer these simple and difinitive findings to the public.

I expect that the individual responsible for these accounts will have some excuse handy, maybe some crap about how BasketballX was visiting i love you between the hours of 8 PM last night and 6 AM this morning (Central time), but I hope that everyone will consider this highly unlikely.

Do with this as you wish. Considering how highly ranked "i love you" is, I think action should be taken, but I don't know if there are sanctions for this sort of thing or not.

Final word? "i love you" is a male who has faked being a female to gain mass popularity while working his way to the top.

Um... ever think that they live close to each other, are friends, and/or share the computer?
Plus they could be using the same proxy.
        You wasted your timez.

Often times, ISP's supply all internet connections in a specific area to one IP address. That's the case in my neighborhood. Don't make assumptions so quickly

Sorry, Ravia, he's not using a proxy. Living near each other doesn't give you identical IP addresses, but maybe you can do some research on the subject to ease your doubts.

Dins, the last octet between two separate connections are always going to be different, even on an intranet.

Very well said. Still a bad post though and if anything you should have just PM'd an administrator with your worries rather than clogging up the forum with an accusatory thread.

                        Re: FAKES in the ranks

Uh, let's break this into a few points.
                        1. You think action should be taken against her FFR rank, because she supposedly lied to people? Not going to happen unless you get much better evidence that actually points to her cheating.
                        2. They have the same IP address, this, according to you, means they are both controlled by the same person. This means that, since there are 2 different genders posted on each profile, the person controlling them was lying about one of them. You of course jump to the conclusion that girls don't exist on the internet, but it's also possible that she (and yes I still believe that i love you is a girl) is lying about the gender on the BasketballX account. Either way, there is no rule against have multiple accounts, so I don't see what you're complaining about, since you have no conclusive proof that they are even the same person.

                          Re: FAKES in the ranks

You misread. I never suggested that i love you's rank should be affected.

I have no doubts that "i love you" is a guy, but that's also based on my previous experience with the individual. There are plenty of female players on FFR, and many of them are very good, but "i love you" is not one of them.

                              Re: FAKES in the ranks

i love you has visited FFR from 25 different IP addresses and she shares TWO of them with BasketballX.

She also shares several of her IPs with several other usernames. Maybe she's all of those people, too.

By your logic, GuidoHunter and I are the same person, because we have posted from the same IP on multiple occasions.

And furthermore, who cares? No one is breaking any rules.
