    Perfect Dark: Stuck in Multiplayer

    Since U84 is banned for a few days, he wanted me to make this thread for him. He is stuck in multiplayer mode when trying to play Perfect Dark (The one for the Nintendo 64). I do not own the game and I have only played it once many years ago. He simply wants to play single player, but we can't figure out how. XD Here is our conversation over aim, so you can better understand what the situation is:

    u84 77: do u remember how to switch to single player mode?
    u84 77: it always starts me on multiplayer
    u84 77: and i cant figure out how to switch it
    HammyMcSquirrel: hmm...
    HammyMcSquirrel: I don't really recall. though I do remember something about that...
    HammyMcSquirrel: is there like an options?
    HammyMcSquirrel: or something
    HammyMcSquirrel: or does it just immediately throw you into multi

    u84 77: i unplugged all controllers but oneplayer
    HammyMcSquirrel: cheatcc or something
    u84 77: yeah i tried a whole bunch
    u84 77: they all assume u know how
    u84 77: i would make a thread, but im banned for 5 days

    HammyMcSquirrel: i'm seeing if I can find a site that says how
    u84 77: i tried gamefaqs, gamestop, and a few others
    HammyMcSquirrel: are there any options before you select a file?
    u84 77: nope
    u84 77: if u go left
    u84 77: it only gives u trhe optioins to copy or delete files
    u84 77: same with right
    u84 77: every other button either changes file or starts it
    HammyMcSquirrel: z too?
    u84 77: yup
    u84 77: its starting to tick me off cause i know i got to single player before wen i had it
    HammyMcSquirrel: do you need an expansion pak?
    HammyMcSquirrel: I think you may need an expansion pak to play single player
    u84 77: i have an expansioin pak
    HammyMcSquirrel: weird...
    HammyMcSquirrel: i'll keep looking
    HammyMcSquirrel: I can't find anything
    u84 77: me neither
    HammyMcSquirrel: maybe you have to hold a combo of buttons when selecting the game file
    HammyMcSquirrel: like L and R at the same time
    HammyMcSquirrel: or some crap

    HammyMcSquirrel: hahah
    HammyMcSquirrel: anything with the c buttons?
    u84 77: nope
    HammyMcSquirrel: what about..
    HammyMcSquirrel: during multiplayer
    HammyMcSquirrel: if you hit pause or something
    u84 77: they act the same as the control stick
    HammyMcSquirrel: oh I mean
    HammyMcSquirrel: like
    HammyMcSquirrel: any options when you hit pause?
    HammyMcSquirrel: or like, if you exit out
    HammyMcSquirrel: does it bring you to a different screen?
    u84 77: it does
    u84 77: but u cant choose any different options or anything
    u84 77: u casn only end game
    HammyMcSquirrel: god damn...
    u84 77: so f*ckin annoying
    HammyMcSquirrel: I could make a thread on it?
    HammyMcSquirrel: and post this conversation
    u84 77: yea i was thinking the same thing

      Oh, and don't make threads for banned users again in the future.

          You don't have to do anything to select single player. His game is probably screwed.

                      Yeah, you need one to play Single Player, otherwise you can only do Multiplayer.

                              I myself like multilayer much more but you need to play single player so you can unlock more weapons.
