    Infantry Online goes FREE

Maybe I am the only one here who has played this... but an old game made by the creators of Substace (Or Continuum), that was bought out by Sony, called Infantry Online is going free.

The game is unique. Its a overhead view sidescroller that supports massive multiplayer gameplay... literally.

The games are not 8 vs. 8, or 10 vs. 10.

    Try 10 vs. 10 vs. 10 vs. 10.
    Or 40 vs. 40.

It features many different zones, some that dont even look as if its from the same game.

The game will be going free June 27th. Right now, if anyone has subscribed in the past, they can play for free... but for those who havent subbed for it in the past, you have to wait til June 26th Has anyone played it? If not, I suggest you at least try.

Infantry Squad Video with some neat gameplay clips to show features..

Wait for a little bit... this game comes equipped with jump packs and airboards

Free Infantry (Hackers and programmers who got a hold of the old server and started a free version.):

Im seeing this zone they made and they made the weapons faster in that particular zone.. same with the jetpacks. Looks like it could suit the Soldat side of me (Fast fast paced gameplay wise.).

The games a bit difficult to learn at first because you have about 30 different weapons and 8 different classes, along with armor to choose from (In some zones.) but its a pretty fun game.

40 vs 40 on one server? Sorry I don't like extremely delayed server-side response.

So is it controlled like Soldat? I may have to try this out, especially if I can get other people from FFR playing with me. =P

      Continuum
If that's what I think it is, then I'm scared to try this game. I haven't played it in so long, but I remember Continuum really confused me for the longest time and even after I figured more stuff out it was really weird. >__>
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

        Dont be retarded.

There is no delayed server reponse. Theres a command... ?Lag.. will tell you how much lag you contribute and how your ping.

        I get like 0% delayed...

Its a 2dish game and the maps are big so you wont have a problem. Most lag occurs when a lots of players are in a single area...

        The game runs fine.

Yes. Continuum is the game you think it is. Infantry has a bit of a learning gap BUT its basically learning how to move, and learning how to set things up.
