Silence is an older stepfile, meaning a lot more people have played it in over the 2-3? years it's been on FFR.

There's not much you can do about that. The best advice I can give is to get better at the song and eventually beat their scores.

Besides that, not trying to make you look foolish, but how do you know that they're button mashing?

Stop complaning and suck it up. If you think your rank is too low then go and get better. Once you can get GOOD scores then you have no need to complain.

ANYONE has a right to complain, how GOOD you are does not matter, as long as your arguement is legitiment.
Im not going "OMG HOW CAN ANYONE DO THAT SONG ITS IMPOSSIBLE." I am talking about the game mechanics, and how a combo means more than it should, it my opinion. Dont flame please.

I just wanted to know how 12 misses on Silence is over rank 1000.
This has nothing to do with complaining.

I can do decent and im on my way to AAAing Challenging songs (With speed mod though.)

I just dont understand how Silence 7 misses is Rank 1000.

I know you have a lot of good StepMania players but I think it is more because of the whole deal with the "Full combo makes more of a difference than PA" deal... and thats what I am mostly complaining about.

I was thrilled about getting under 10 misses on Silence, ROFL.
I was shocked I was in even keeping a combo in that song, it felt like I could barely read it but I was doing decent.

Dot Death has been around about as long as Silence (I assume), and I can full combo it... That Rank is at least 200-300.

A combbo on FFR matters ALOT. I got about 3 goods and a miss on Z, and that was like Rank 300, my score with 10 Goods and a full combo was a better rank than that.

I'm sure that you've heard the old phrase "never assume." This would most definitely apply here. I'm not saying that you should never assume, but you should definitely avoid assumptions. Here's why:

So an assumption is essentially a guess. I'll go look at the scores for Silence.
