    Friend Location Finder

    Stepmania has what is called a friend finder. It's where you enter in your street adress to put an arrow to your location where others can click so you could for instance meet the person in real life (providing your comforable with that). This would be awsome because I cosider myself the best FFRist/SM player in my region and I would just like to find out or meet people with similar intrests. Idea's/suggestions/reasons it can't happen?

      this would be cool...probably many people wouldn't be comfortable with this though

          Thats why its optional...FFR isn't going to track you down then insert you adress into a database.

          This anyway wouldn't show your adress just that you live close to them though a arrow sticky thing.

              it would be a great idea, if we didn't have a bunch of stalkers on the internet. i'd still do it anyway and have a weapon ready. xD

                  Also again they couldn't track down your exact adress. They just know approximatly how far and in what direction.

                      considering what happened before about two meeting up on ffr, this is NOT the thing that should be implemented.

                          That's a really good idea! I really want to see if I'm one of the good players in my region.

                          EDIT: I don't know about those meet-ups. I still think it is a good idea, unless you convince me otherwise.

                              Fido you don't need to meet new people. You have me. Even though I bet we like go to the same school and never met. But you're like an internet buddeh who lives really close or at least i'd assume from your location.

                                  We don't want to be just like SM do we? Not I. The idea is interesting, but with the stalkers, like lumph said, it's a no-go. T-up on idea, but with stalkers it's not going to happen.

                                              Yes, it really DID happen. Which is why a good idea like this can easily be abused.
