    Suggestion for Banning

I believe that banned users should have the ability to go over the rules, after being banned. They cannot at this time because the rules are all in the Forum.

Those who are banned should not have there subscription options taken away from them either, unless it was a major infraction. If someone gets banned for spamming they shouldnt get their subscription revoked, they should just be banned from posting and commenting.

    Should anything else be added?

No, I think that that seems fair.

I also forgot to add that before banning and revoking subscription, it should be said somewhere, that supporters will lose subscription if they break a rule. It would be unfair to do so otherwise, and it would make them less likely to do it.

So read them when you get back from your ban.

If this is indeed what happens, then it's still a known bug that hasn't yet been fixed. I assure you that you shouldn't have had your subscription taken away.

Guido, they don't lose their subscription, they just lose access to all forum based things relating to it, such as access to the custom title or access to the subscriber forum.

They can still play songs and they're still "Elite FFR Supporters".

That said, I don't think a copy of the forum rules would be so hard to add to the FAQ or something.

                    Re: Suggestion for Banning

We will not take your subscription status away from you if you are banned. You will however have your subscriber features suspended during the ban. This is only fair. Just remember to follow the rules, common.. This is FFR, it's not hard to follow the rules we set.

                    Cheers,

                    Synthlight

                      Re: Suggestion for Banning

I think if you are banned you would have been warned for what you had been doing before-hand.

You should know what you did wrong.

I didn't think of that... when I was banned the beta wasn't out yet.

They must've changed it from when I was banned. Sorry for assuming such things would remain constant.

I don't think I've been "warned" before any of my bans.

                        This, however, is true.

I think the forum rules (every sticky) should be the FRONT PAGE. and before you go anywhere, you have to fill out a quiz testing your knowledge, and enter a 1000 word essay on how you are going to contribute, and if you get 300 or more grammatical or spelling errors you can't enter.
