Head over to the FFR Batch Forum for all the details on how you can get your file into the game. The Artist Permissions forum section will help you find out if FFR has permission to use the song your file goes with.
It should say something like:
You have changed the BPM or offset of ________
Offset has been changed from 0.000 to -.087 (-.087)
Would you like to save the changes?
If it doesn't say offset has been changed from ____ to ____ then nothing happened, if it says that and you hit save it syncs the snog to how you just played it.

I've tried it on a number of songs, and it has NEVER changed the BPM (Or said it has)
Just dumb luck, or what?
Yeah, same here, but it's still quite useful for gap. I think you either have to be ridiculously accurate for the BPM change to work properly, or that it was simply a feature that was never implemented.
