    Star Wars KOTOR II: The Sith Lords

    So after I went to a SSBM tourney, I went ahead and bought KOTOR for $8 from my local Game On store. I had watched an episode of X-Play the day ebfore and they were talking about KOTOR plus I had been meaning to get the game for a while now. So I went home and sat down at my pc and opened the case. The clerk had accidently put in KOTOR II instead of KOTOR inside the box. So seeing if this was a fluke, I went online to see the price of a used copy of KOTOR II.

    $24.99

    Boy howdy did I luck out. O_o

    So I installed the game and I must say, this game is pretty kick-ass. Before I didn't want to play it because of my extreme X-Box bias. However, once I found out it was on the PC as well, it was just a matter of time before I bought it.

    So anyone else play and enjoy it?

      Its a great game. I beat the game and then started a new one and since then I have not played it in a while.

      This thread has now got me in the mood so I'll probably start playing it again sometime tomorrow.
      There is a 50% chance your pillow will eat you while you are sleeping.

          The original Kotor is much better, but Kotor II is decent.

              The ending of KOTOR II made me want to crack the disk in two.

              Talk about rushed as ****.

              also yes get kotor before playing kotor ii

                  Too late. I'm already a good way's into the story and it keeps getting better and better. I now have Dominate Mind and Melee Proficiency with Two Melee Weapons namely two Modified Vibroswords. I had a modified Sith Sword but it got taken away from me once I got to Telos. =(

                      Great games, they were, i own both, and I have to disagree with squeek, II improves on much of it's gameplay that I found annoying in I, such as the soundless speedrun, and others I forget because I haven't played it in a year

                              And yet, the main component of an RPG was destroyed in KOTOR II. The story.

                                  KOTOR was a classic, definitely get the first if you can (even though i hated the first planet like none other...)
                                  KOTOR II was actually a little bit easier to beat in my opinion. Maybe it was just cause i was younger, but i beat the second faster than i did the first.

                                          Yeah I loved both. I got my suitemate into the second one. I loved customizing my characters, giving them the best skills and stats as I could. My suitemate would only customize his main character and used auto on the rest. I didn't understand that as the big part of my playing was customizing each one and making them the best. :S

                                              KOTOR 1 in my opinion is better, but I lost it somewhere in my house.

                                              I want to play so bad know since I've started playing KOTOR II again.
