    hmm

Well.. I've check the software thread.. and frankly, all the software there is really complicated, and confuses the ****ing **** out of me.

I'm looking for something with the interface of Finale Notepad, but with the sounds and sex-like quality of the techno makers.

    Any suggestions?

I suggest you just use one that's listed, and just watch tuts. You'll get it.

Each program takes getting used to.

It took my 2 weeks before I figured out how to slap together a song in Buzz.

      Just stick with it.

As one who is adjusted to sheet music (I'm assuming you are as well because you are adjusted Finale) I'd have to say the tracker notation used by Buzz and FT2 is disgusting. Piano rolls ftw.

ORRR you could be hardcore, and use a Midi Orchestrator program, like DM Ashura did for neoMax.

Acid sucks, go with Fruity Loops, go to youtube, and search Fruity Loops (or FL Studio) Tutorial. Then click the one by Mr.Simon or something, it's the best one.

Mr. Simon's tutorial is horrid. It shows you how to do it, but not what you're actually doing to the track itself.
