    stepmania 3.9 trouble

    on some stepcharts there are 3 or occasionally 4 i never use the keyboard because i only use a IGNITION 3.0 mat but i dont want to use the keyboard how do i hit these arrows ?

      Are you kidding me? There are two ways that I use. The first is, bend down and hit the arrow(s) with your hand. Number two is step on the three or four arrows fast enough. There, problem solved.

          According to what I've read about Stepmania, some songs were made to be impossible to do by dance pad and have to be completed on the keyboard. Sorry, but that is your only choice if you want to play the song...

              No idea whatsoever.

              I have an ignition 3.0 but I've never played via pad! How do you do it!

                      Hands and Quads are very possible and I'm pretty sure he wasn't doing some impossible keyboard file if he's not even good enough to know that he uses his hands on more than 2 arrows at once.
                      + To use stepmania with a dancepad it either has to be a USB pad or if not get a USB adaptor, preferrably the Trio Linker Plus 4.0 ---> http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-...en-70-528.html

                              Yes it is actually. It is also ps2, xbox, and if I remember correctly gamecube.

                                      All of the above.. Quads and triple notes were made soley for keyboard, but if you're willing to go the extra mile, go for it and try to succeed on those notes. Otherwise, play FFR more and hope that it pays off for SM quads.
