just played a terrible version of DDR

    http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/puzz...pdates;title;1

only redeeming quality is that it has Brightness Darkness and Slam (Pendulum, same artist as Another Planet for you stepmaniers)

    interface is awful

onscreen arrows seem crowded and claustrophobic

notecharts are basically watered down ITG charts, so that they're not hard enough to be a fun challenge but they lack the classic feel of Konami charts, and they play like bad Udderdude charts from 2003 - anyone could make them

oh and it has a bad remix of GO! lmfao

    360 owners: look elsewhere

most of you own an xbox, so get an ultramix (assuming they aren't this bad)

My friend has it. Gotta go try it.

post-dumps abstractly represent the existential nihilism that the song invokes in the listener with negative space, evoking the ephemeral nature of the mind - the journey of stepmania begins in hope yet soon becomes corroded into a dialectic of futility, leaving only a sense of dread and the unlikelihood of a new synthesis

Oh god. I pity anyone who has a 360 and wants DDR. Just buy a pad and an adapter.

Ultramixes has always failed compared to PS mixes, so no surprise here. Song list looks pretty weak too :P

The reason why people somehow dislikes DDR is because it lacks customizations and personalized difficulties. Sure, Konami does not take care of all your problems too seriously, of course they do it for the sake of their game, because if you can create or upload custom songs it could mean you'll never buy DDR again.

The world of video games is already plagued with piracy and now the it is going to be infested with cheapskates.

If you could see the picture, better go on with it. It's all common sense.
Many people today play DDR Extreme, DDR Supernova and later. But I still play 1st and 2nd mix in the arcades. Too bad for me.

          .

          PRESENT DAY
Man: I'm going to play DDR 1st Mix today.
Man 2: SO what? I'm playing Supernova 2 today.
Man: What the hell is Supernova?
Man 2: Go back to the 60's, noob.
