Didnt know whether to stick this in the simulation section or here, lol.
1. Get Rid Of Dead Weight:
In other words, only thing that should be in the song folder when your done makin the steps to the song is the banner, bg, song, and .SM file. Get rid of the two .old files and the .DWI file.
2. Mp3 to Ogg:
R21 machines only read .ogg files... go here http://media-convert.com/ to convert the file... once you hit convert, it'll ask you late for quality setting... the default is 7, make sure its 10. Then re-download the song in its new .ogg form. Also make sure you rename the song to what the MP3 was named (cause the new download is just one jumbled up name) and also open the SM File (in notepad) and make sure you change the extension to .ogg where it has the music source.
3. Shortening Song Glitch
R21 Machines will not continue the whole song if it is greater than 1:45. It'll just stop the song completely and go directly to the score screen. You have to trick the machine into thinking the song is exactly 1:45. In this case, you need this... http://r21freak.com/utilities/OggLengthPatch.zip extract the ZIP and take the .exe file and put it on your desktop. Then drag the over 1:45 .ogg file over the .exe file as if you were putting it in a folder. The screen will flash for a second. Now your .ogg file is set to 1:45 (but don't worry, the ENTIRE song will still play like normal).
Now get out there and convert your songs to play on other arcades.
