    What to do on a Saturday near downtown Chicago?

    I live in Ohio, but im in Chicago for my friends brothers College Graduation (He goes to Illinois Institute of Technology).

    Anyone over 18 in the Chicago area know of any good places to go? It will be a shame if we leave without hitting up the town tonight.

                          1. Go to a baseball game. Kansas City Royals @ Chicago White Sox at 6:05pm CST.

                          2. Find an arcade and play DDR.

                          3. Go see what's happening at the Chicago theatre.

                          5. Go to Harpo Studios, home of talk show host Oprah Winfrey.

                          6. Go to the Navy Pier.

                          7. Go to the Crown Fountain.

                          8. Go to the Daley Plaza.

                          There's a days worth of tourism to do.

                                          Nope, it's just "Navy Pier". I was called "Municipal Pier" a long, long time ago, and there were supposed to be a lot more of them. It was used as a naval base for a little while, and that's when the name changed.

                                              I never knew you had your name legally changed...

                                              Also, for relevance. Downtown Chicago is a nice place -- plenty of museums to hit if you're into that sort of thing. =P Navy Pier really is a nice place to chill out for a while, there's a bunch of parks and such if you just feel like sitting and relaxing.

                                                  Yeah we walked to Navy pier to go eat. I mean we took the L Train from 25TH Street, right by China Town and walked after we got off for a good 3 miles or so..

                                                  It was freezing. I live in Cleveland and it was like 70 there. Im used to cold weather and all but I figured "Hey if it is 75 in Ohio it HAS to be even warmer in Chicago." Nope. 45 degrees.

                                                  We walked all of the way back, got back on the L Train and ended up going to Connies Pizza, 2 blocks away from where we were at...

                                                  Gr.. Tommorow before I head home im going to Game Works or some place where they have a Super Nova machine.
