Can you use dance pads for FFR?

I was wondering if you can connect a dance pad to FFR.

    Wow. Pretty post.
Yes, technically you can hook up pads to play FFR, but it is highly ill-advised, since standing on an arrow too long will cause you to lose due to excessive boos.

Yes, but if you stand on any direction for more than about 1 second it will start giving you boos like crazy so it's really hard to do well.

      Edit: ninja'd.

Download autohotkey and set it up so that your pad's buttons register as up down left and right (there's a sticky in FFR General talk that explains this). Then go to control panel and set the keyboard's repeat delay and repeat rate to as slow as possible, to avoid excess boos. It's very ill-advised, though: you'd be better off playing DDR or ITG so that you don't get boos all over the place and so you don't have to return to the center panel.

Or Stepmania. You don't get boos for hold down keys or pressing false keys.

I support using the Edit Button. You should too.
