    Thoughts on the Warriors vs. Mavs Game 5

    to start it off im a warriors fan. even when they were down 21 i still watched because i had faith in them. in the final minutes the warriors went up 9 points but nowitzki decides to go crazy and sink in his 3's. i dont doubt him, he is the mvp. but i was utterly disappointed in the warriors for not closing it out. they shouldve drove it in to draw some fouls at least, not take hard, contested shots. right now i am depressed but i know in game 6, being back in the bay area, warriors should be able to finish the series.

    for those of you who watched this exciting yet depressing game (to me), how did you feel about it?

      Game wasn't depressing at all (except when the Mavs blew that 21 point lead).

      The simple fact is that Golden State should NOT be doing this well against Dallas. I think this game was exactly the slap in the face that the Mavs needed to show that they're completely capable of dominating when their hearts are in it (which was clearly not their state in the previous two games). With their playoff hopes on the line, they're going to bring their A game, which is superior to Golden State's A game in pretty much every way.

          I find it interesting that the Mavs can probably beat every other team in the league, and are having such a hard time with the warriors.

          If you remember though the warriors broke that 17 game win streak the mavs had during the regular season. I like the mavs, and hope they win, But the warriors seem to be the Mavs kryptonite so to speak.
