    i have wireless, and i was wondering if there was a way i could

          To do it manually:

          Go to run and type in 'cmd'

          Type in ipconfig

          http://www.hackinthebox.com/ because I forgot the rest...

                  if u have wireless idk, but if u have a modem, turn off pc, click button on back and new ip

                      What about for cable? I recently switched to cable from DSL and haven't looked into changing my IP much.

                              Depends on your ISP, some providers issue you with a Static IP, which means it's not going to change if you reconnect etc... I think that generally applies to cable more than ADSL so chances are you've got a Static IP.
                              You may want to look at a Proxy... That'll make you appear to be a different IP...
