To do it manually:
Go to run and type in 'cmd'
Type in ipconfig

What about for cable? I recently switched to cable from DSL and haven't looked into changing my IP much.

Depends on your ISP, some providers issue you with a Static IP, which means it's not going to change if you reconnect etc... I think that generally applies to cable more than ADSL so chances are you've got a Static IP.
You may want to look at a Proxy... That'll make you appear to be a different IP...Comment
