how on earth do you get songs onto stepmania?

i just dled stepmania and i know it's a ddr sim but i have no clue where to get songs and how to get them on there.

i'm pretty computer-savvy so you if you tell me how you won't have to bust your ass with extreme detail but i've read a bunch of topics and none have said how to get songs on there sucessfully.
so if you could tell me then i'd always be your friend.
and that'd be cool.

OHHH

thats sooo easy! You take the files in the song, and put them in the Stepmania folder, delete the songs folder, thats a bug. Take every file seperately and place them in the main stepmania folder! you have to have 5 songs for it to work! HURRY DO IT
