    Dancing Stage Ultimix 3 -The Next Generation-

    The original and sequel were both on Bemanistyle, but I feel that this is going to be absolutely awesome so me and Sulfer decided on posting it here! If you want to help me, go ahead and make some sims, or submit some of your old ones, I don't really mind as long as it's good quality stuff! Just to let you know, we are a series of pad packs that I have been making over the past the past year and a half, and I think this one started in early January. I'm just posting it here because we need all the help we can get! I always say "WE" instead of I or me because I think of us as a community, a team. Yeah you probably just think I'm lame. Anyway...

    In 2005, it began. Dancing Stage Ultimix. Over 60 songs, each with Light, Standard and Heavy steps. It was not well known, or not as much as it should've been.


    In 2006, the sequel had arrived. Anticipation grew for this pack, with 114 songs, just beating DDR Extreme (JP) by 1 song. This included legends like Dokurorider, Hiryuu, Spork!, cpubasic13, Kewing Darksun and many more. This pack had improved over the original.


    And now...




    It's that time again! The next installment of the Dancing Stage Ultimix series will blow you away! New revivals category, combinging the old with the new. New courses, that will shock and excite you every step of the way. New Unlock System, with an all-new method of locking songs not yet seen in a pack before.


    You might be wondering, "what is the next generation about?". Well, this time, no dissapointing charts will be accepted. This pack is a co-op by myself and Spork!, to ensure that all charts are good and fun. But don't worry if you think we are going to be really harsh. We don't expect every chart to be the best stepchart in the world ever. That's fine with us. If the chart is fun, we will accept it. Graphics aren't too big of a factor, but I'm sure if they are we will just ask nicely in the graphic requests and see what turns up.


    How is it exactly going to work you say? Every week I will upload the batch of simfiles that people have given me permission to use to rapidshare and give Spork! the link. He will then decide which simfiles are good enough and will PM me the 'survivors'. So that does mean I cannot approve any files until each Friday, they will be pending in the next post down.


    As usual, if you want to do exclusives, please do! Send them to benspeirs@hotmail.co.uk and I'll download them from there. You will get a reward of 100 credits for each Exclusive file you make. This is probably not going to change anybody's mind about doing one, but it's just my little "Thank You!".

      Hey, by the way BEN, there are no tokens on FFR, so you may want to change that. You could give out 350 credits instead, but I doubt anyone cares about that amount.

          Ah yes. But 350 is a little too much since I treasure my unlocks :P I'll change to 100 creds per exclusive

                  That would turn into a HELL of a lot! Although come to think of it most of my sims do come from Beanistyle....

                  If you have a lot of tokens and you do not mind, then that would be really great, but I'm not too worried if you can't, because it will probably be a lot.

                  EDIT: A hell of a lot if you meant each individual file, it probably wouldn't be that much if you only gave 500 per exclusive. I don't know how to take this :P

                              Lol, then thanks a lot! I'll be sure to credit you in the packs manual/readme. Although you still hven't specified if you are giving for exclusives only or for everything! And of course I wouldn't want any tokens for making anything.

                              Also, people like Sulfer go onto both sites, so I guess if you submitted on one you could have a choice.

                                          You should try playing a few sims that are already in the pack, that way you can get a feel for pad. I could even make you graphics if you want

                                                  I've been stepping another Freedom Call song. Not saying what though... I have a Heavy chart and some cool gfx, but I dunno if I want to use it. Maybe save it for DSU4 lolz. It's also easier then the other two, but it's waayyy better.

                                                  I haven't been working on anything else though. I am still waiting for the graphics to Challenge to Pantheon. Dat Romancing Saga sim.
