DDR with the (game console) Controller - Anyone do that?

My story: I ogt an ingrown toenail, so I could no longer play me DDR Extreme 2 on the mat. That's when I decided to learn all the songs by using my PS2 controller. It as a hit, and me and my sister got really good at it.

Does anyone do really good doing this? I can AAA alot of the beginner levels if I try hard.

My best combo: In combo mode, played over 30 something songs and got a 7652 combo.

    Yeah, it's called FFR.

Sarcasm aside, I did learn to play fingerdance like that, because I got DDR Extreme for Christmas one year but the pads broke in like 2 weeks so I played like that for a while until I started playing SM/FFR.

I played controller quite a bit from the time my terrible pad broke to the time I got my flux.

I did it when I went without a working down arrow. I can AAA some heavy, I'm better on feet though.

yea i do that as well. Here is a challnge for ya if u think its too easy. Try playing double. I can do it with two controllers on basic/standard. Its kinda tricky with the left hand since i used the directional arrows instead of the buttons. You cant hit doubles that way... :\
