You know... is it just me or do the Mario brothers games seem like the all time best? I mean this was the first huge advancement in video gaming before this, it had been pong and "droidz". I remember playin the original version when i was 3 and enjoying every minute of it... and as i got older the mario series became more challenging and the graphics were steadily improving... plus, the theme song is so damn catchy!

Re: Let's Go Back The Early 90
Pac-man was early 80's.. Early 90's was the end of the Amiga. The first home computer able to do pre-emptive multitasking with 4096 colors. The reign of psygnosis was also around that time (they were kind of the EA of their time). Whatever you can imagine for the PC around 1990 or the Super Nintendo for that matter, the Amiga did it better and with more color and graphics horsepower.
Don't get me started on this stuff.
look at this and try to remember this is 1990.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZU610xsQhb0 (damn, that's only the intro..)
Here is one of my favorite demo's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5kuYfTCGLg (give it a few minutes to get going)
Yet another example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fO48k...elated&search=
But again.. Think 16-color PC's, think super-mario, think pre-wolfenstein and then you will appreciate the graphics you are seeing in those links. Then realize that hardware was capable of doing those graphics since about 88' on the Amiga 500.
Cheers,
