2. I didn't say this before, since I figured it was obvious, but I want to make it very clear. No cheating. This includes slow down, double setup, trainer programs, hidden arrows, or anything else that would give you an unfair advantage. Any cheating will get you disqualified.

I've decided to start doing my first tournament! Anyone can sign up, as long as you're not ban evading or anything lol. There will be two divisions, which I'll call the dance division and the classical division, with the classical division being the one for advanced players. Feel free to sign up for either one, but if you're too good, don't expect to get into the dance division. Dance division will play one song from each of easy, standard, tricky, difficult, and very difficult, assuming there are 5 rounds. Classical division will play two songs from challenging, two songs from very challenging, and one song from for masters only, again assuming there are 5 rounds. I have all the songs people will play already determined, and will give hints as to what they are soon before each round stars, except for the first round.

Sign up for this tournament by posting in this thread. I apologize that I'm not allowing other ways to sign up, and please sign up on your main account.

Sign ups will close once I get 32 people in each division, or one week from now, which will be Wednesday, April 18th, at midnight eastern time. The first round will start at midnight eastern time of the day when sign ups are filled, or on April 18th, if not enough people sign up.

Each round will last 4 days, with one additional day added if a tiebreaker is necessary. You must get the score on that week's song you submit during those 4 days, and you may play the song as many times as you want. You must get the score you submit on the account you signed up with, and it must either record in the database or be saved in multiplayer scores. Feel free to play the tiebreaker during those 4 days if you want, but please don't submit it unless it is necessary. When you get the score you want, take a screenshot of it, and PM it to me. If you don't know how to take a screenshot, follow these steps:

1. Press the Print Screen button on your keyboard.
2. Go into Paint (Start>Programs>Accessories) or another imaging program and hit Ctrl-V, which should make the screenshot pop up on the screen.
3. Save the screenshot somewhere in your computer.
4. Go to an image hosting site, such as www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.com, and upload the screenshot from your computer.
5. Send me a link to the screenshot via forum PM.

I will update the scores that people have submitted at least once per day. For any day I fail to do this (where someone submitted a score, anyway, and is not trying to abuse this by submitting it 5 minutes before the end of the day or anything like that), the top prize in both divisions will be increased by 1000 credits.

All rounds of this tournament will be Free For All, with the bottom half of scorers dropping out, so you need to get a score better than half of the competition, or you're out. Anyone that doesn't submit a score is also automatically out. You can submit as many scores as you want for each round, and I will count the best one. The remaining players after each round in both divisions will be:

32/16/8/4/2/1

This means there will only be five rounds at the most, possibly less if few people sign up and/or few people submit, but there will not be any more than 5 rounds.

The prizes for each division are as follows:

Classical division:
1st: 5000 credits and me giving myself a title of "(your username here) wins!" for a week
2nd: 2500 credits
3rd: 1000 credits

Dance division:
1st: 2500 credits
2nd: 1000 credits
3rd: 500 credits

The number after a username is that player's score, followed by the number of goods etc. in parentheses. (5)=5 goods, (3-1-0-0)=3 goods, 1 average, (10-1-1-1-3c)=10 perfects, 1 good, 1 average, 1 miss, 3 max combo

Everyone below their division's line (--------) is currently not going to make it into the next round.
