My god, how many more of these are there going to be? I imagine all this one is going to be made for is shock value. Personally I liked the originals better than the newer ones. I think the American cinema is too focused on the shock value of horror films. I much rather watch Japanese horror films becuase it seems to get more in your head and that's what is truly scary. After seeing movies like Cannibal Holocaust or The Guinea Pig series, "extreme violence" just doesn't cut it anymore. I guess I'll just have to keep waiting for the next great horror flick.
