The Greatest Piece of Baseball History Ever!

So, I was talking to my girlfriend yesterday and baseball just happened to come up. I (an avid Twins fan) started talking about how much we are sucking against the Yankees. All of a sudden she goes, "Did I ever tell you that my dad owns the ONLY film ever recorded of Babe Ruth calling his shot and hitting that home run?".....I couldn't believe what she said so I asked again if that's what she meant. She just like casually said, "Yeah my grandpa got it from his dad and he just died last year so now my dad has it. Apparently it's worth like a TON of money. But he would never sell it. He just gets to charge places like ESPN for using the clip."

Go ahead, bask in the glory of my girlfriend's family. BASK I SAY!

I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

I expected BS calls, of course. Her dad (along with the rest of her family) lives in Kentucky. So it might be hard to get a hold of a pic. Maybe I can get her dad to e-mail me a picture with like, the film roll and (if it even has one) a picture of the authenticity slip. But once again, I am still baffled by this. Stay tuned for further details as well as (hopefully) pictures. Then all you non-believers must beg for forgiveness or be forever damned by the baseballs gods.

Yeah that's right, now you all MUST believe me...at least you should. Anyway, had to prove I wasn't "lying on da internet" as Kilga so wonderfully put.

I don't want to seem totally stupid or anything... But what's so amazing about this? He predicted he would hit a home run.. Okay? Haha.. Sorry, I haven't a clue about baseball.

its not just about him predicting it. I mean, it is somewhat, but its THE ONLY VIDEO of it.

And he was one of if not the greatest baseball player ever. And calling a home run is practically impossible. He pointed to the direction where he would hit it and did it. That is something that has never been equalled in baseball EVER.
