FFR has finally convinced me that I need to buy DDR. I'm thinking of getting the DDR Ultramix bundle that EBGames.com offers, complete with the game and floor pad. Does this sound good, or should I go for another version, like on the PS2 or something?
Finally getting DDR

i think the ps2 is a pretty badass one...but it sorta sux cuz its like only the songs that come with the game and all...id rather just go and play it for free at malibu grand prix's arcade for free...since i work there.

Well, I figured in the long run, DDR Ultramix for the Xbox would be more practical, since you can download content off of Xbox LIVE!, which means you can probably put more songs into your library via downloading.
...
You... can download content off LIVE!, right?Comment

they say u can...but i dont have LIVE to witness it myself. im pretty sure u can since the whole point of live is to play with ppl all over the world and crap. and xbox is known for internet/downloading crap off ur computer. so im sure u can. thats why i say ddr is better for xbox rather than ps2...

DDR Club Version for the Dreamcast is your best bet. Macho Gang is the shit. But, yeah, either the PS2 or X-Box versions are fine and Ultramix does offer download packs, but I heard somewhere you have to pay for them. I don't know if this just ties in with XBLive or if it is a seperate fee altogether - I'll have to check that out.

MAX2 is definitely disappointing, but when you can't really import, what choice do you have?

Anyways, I thought that DDRMAX2 was quite disappointing as well. DDRMAX was pretty good though. Haven't gotten to try Konamix yet. Is that one any good?Comment

Konamix is ok. Since it's sort of old and for PS1, I'm sure you could get a cheap price on it. If the price is right for you, pick it up - it's not too bad. It had more significance when it was released. Looking back though, it was a sort of crappy mix presentation wise, but there's a few good songs on there.

Way to be overly reduntant, you overly redundant -redundant person that reiterates things a lot more than he should reiterate.
