    Well guys, Lent is almost over...

    As most of you may know, Lent ends on Easter. Seeing as how this is a large forum, I'm curious, and would like to know what you guys gave up for Lent, if you gave anything up at all. Also, why'd you give it up, and are you going to stay free of that?

    Me, my reason for Lent is mostly religious. I gave up pornography for the 40 days, and have decided that I'll try to be porn-free for the rest of my life (yes, even while I'm married). The reason I gave up porn is because I was convinced that porn was holding back my walk with God.

    So, what are your reasons? Also, for anyone who has decided to abstain from whatever it is for the rest of their lives, I salute you.

          If I was a Catholic, I'd probably give up porn as well but as a regular non-denomination Christian, I just ask God to forgive my discrepancies.

                          I didn't give up anything this year. Last year I tried giving up something that's fun, not about to say what. That didn't really work out. Only year I've ever tried lent.

                                          My friend gave up #3 for lent, and some of my other friends were so nice that they joined in with him.

                                          However, I think he's the only one who's still going strong. :P
