    TV Observations

A little while ago, whilst watching TV, I flipped over to the Cartoon Network to watch a cartoon or two. The first show I watched was some wierd show called Stan Lee's Condor. It was on at 7:00 PM. Now keep in mind that this is a kid's channel and it is fairly early. Anyway, while watching this show I heard several things which I think worth noting. First quote, "What the hell do you want?" second quote, "Well, that pisses everyone off," and finally, my personal favorite, "Life's a bitch." I jumped off the couch. What!!! They can't say THAT!!! This is a kid's show for f**k's sake!
That's my part for bad language on TV these days. Shortly after this show, I started to watch a show that I at first believed to be possibly the worst show ever created, but then I realized that it was making fun of Anime cartoons like YUGIOH and all those other ones. It was even pretty bad at that except it was funny how like the Anime cartoons it was. It showed a lot of cliches from those shows. It was called "Bobobobo" or something.
Another thing I thought was funny was in the commercial right afterwards, it was for a matchbox dragon thingy and it was the end part that struck me as funny, this is the way the commercial went at the end. "Batteries not included, some assembly required," and then their slogan, "MatchBox! Ready to go!"
Because the batteries are missing and you must first assemble it, it is obviously not "ready to go".
It's the early bird that gets the worm, but it's the second mouse that gets the cheese.

    Re: TV Observations

What gave you the impression that cartoon network is a channel meant strictly for kids? Along the same lines, what made you think it was a kid's show? The majority of their programming may be kid-friendly, but that doesn't mean all of it must be. If parents don't want their children to watch something on TV, they have the option of using parental controls. That's assuming that their child isn't smart enough to watch it at a friends house or use the internet.

Also, the words you mentioned are rather tame nowadays. In some countries, nearly anything can be said, albeit perhaps after a certain time. Personally, I don't understand the whole concept of "bad words" in the first place, but whatever. If something you see on TV offends you, then don't watch it.

I agree with dark prodigy, don't watch it if you don't want to.

i didnt say it offended me at all. and usually cartoons are geared towards kids. and cartoon network is definitely a kids channel, except for adult swim and theyre kinda separate.

What time does Adult Swim start? I'm Canadian so I wouldn't know.

i havent watched toonami in years now... before when it used to come on at around 3pm, it used to be full of awesome shows: zoids, mobile suit gundam, etc... now they us thave crappy reruns and stupid shows... its not even worth watching anymore... i watch adult swim now and then... really only for family guy, futurama, ATHF, and robot chicken (i like a few of their episodes)... other than that, cartoon network is a dead station...

in response to the vulgarity, the vchip was installed for reason, to block these channels... parents have the means to clock shows and complete stations like this, whether they do or not is a different issue

Bobobo-bobo-bobobo is utterly insane and therefor hilarious.
If it weren't for irony, this statement wouldn't be funny.

i think bobobo ia making fun of the cliches in modern anime, stuff like flashing back to the guy getting trained or people like "unh" and the screen splits diagonally to show two people
