I feel like a moron asking this, but...

...You DO need a program that unzips files in order to properly (and successfully) download songs to Stepmania, right?

    >_>

Because on my computer (I'm using my laptop), I already have an unzipping program (WinRAR, I think...or it was WinZIP) and...yeah. Thing is, I've never downloaded Stepmania before until today.

Plus, the strange thing is...I was able to successfully extract a simfile from here onto Stepmania WITHOUT the program. Which was really...weird.

    Help, anyone?

EDIT: If it matters, I'm downloading from the FFR Simfile Database. (I honestly haven't been on FFR in ages...)

Why use a program? Right click the zip and hit "Extract All". The only time you'll need a program is if somebody extracts their sim into an .rar archive--which in that case, you use WinRAR. That's about all that there's to it.

Tried that. I keep getting errors, saying that there's nothing in the zip, for some reason...

Oh, if it matters (again), I have Windows Vista.

      EDIT: Screencap!

      EDIT 2: What the...

The song that I was able to extract...I tried downloading it again for experimental purposes, and it gave me the same error. This is really, really odd.
