That song centright posted saying he wrote "Tri-Melodic" is actually "Raindrops" by Toby Emerson. Centright took it from the FL demo file and posted it as his own music.

Yeah it costs money. Not really sure how much. I'll be looking into it soon, but it's not cheap. You gotta like mail in the song or CD to the copyright office and stuff.

Sorry I'm so late to this post. Anyway, sorry to get in on da secrets (yummmmm, secrets) and I can get all the loops I need. If you wanna do it propa, you go back to the oldschool funk and disco stuff, and sample their breaks. I've got a friend who does illbient, other kinds of downtempo, and hip hop and he goes to old record stores and digs through their crates of old stuff to find the beats he samples. I don't have nearly that much dedication, so I just find old Jimmy Castor Bunch, Big Bongo Band, and whatever else funk I can find.

I still say you've got some beats sampled from"Amen, My Brother" by the Winstons in your stuff whether you know it or not. That has to have one of the baddest breaks in it ever!

Uhh... It sounds like every single FGJ song just uses tweaked amen breaks.

With the Megaman remix.. i ended up using at least six different snare tones, four different kicks, and a lot of other various percussive tones...

THe overall count was somewhere around 25-30, half of which were samples, the rest were made using buzz generators.
