Alright, I was going to make a thread regarding the song "Incognito" being in funk, when it really isn't a funk song, but I saw the tutorial for mapping the keys in FFR for windows, and even though you windows people may think it helps you, it would help people playing on mac laptops even more.
See, the arrow keys on mac laptops (like my macbook) are very small, close together, and don't spring up very quickly, making it near impossible to use them when the songs start getting fast and chaotic. In games like stepmania this isn't a problem, because there's a system in the game to remap the keys, but FFR R1 doesn't have that, and it doesn't work on R2 for some reason.
I've looked for a way to do this myself, but to no avail, has anyone found a way to remap the keys to say, I-J-K-L for FFR? If you have you should post a solution here to help.
And please guys, I hope we can all be mature and keep away from two things:
1. Don't turn this into a mac vs. pc thread. I understand that you may prefer your dell over my mac, but that's no reason to hate me, there is no superior operating system, just a majority and a minority. If someone isn't white does that make them a worse person?
2. Don't just say "install windows and play on that". That's not helpful, XP with service pack 2 is $200. If you're willing to buy me a copy, then by all means toss me a PM and we'll work something out, but otherwise try to be helpful
