    How do you install rar files?

    I've noticed that some files (although scarce) are in .rar format, How do I install these files? (don't worry I know how to do .zip files)

    Thanks for any help, and sorry if this is a noobish question

      Hmm, I don't know what you mean by install and to be honest with you I don't even know what this is doing here but if you want to unzip rar files, you should use WinAce. As far as I know, WinZip can't handle them.

      Try this one bud. Don't worry, there's a trial version that you can run the days up on without having to buy it.

          sorry what I meant was put the songs on stepmania, and thanks for the help.

              -Open up the .rar
              -If there is a folder of the song in the rar., then you drag and drop that folder into your SM songs folder.
              -If it is the contents (song mp3, bg art, bn art, etc.); make a folder in your SM songs folder called "the songs name" and drag and drop the contents inside.

              Problem solved.
