    What do you use?

I asked this once on PlurPlanet, and found the answers very interesting.

I was just wondering what programs you guys use to produce.
I use Acid 4.0, FruityLoops, Propellerhead Rebirth, and Hammerhead Rythym Studio.

Buzzmachines (www.buzzmachines.com), Acid 4.0 (for Mixing and editing), and I did use Fruity Loops 3.4 for a while.

Fruityloops for making the track and Cool Edit Pro for mastering.

lol no. Just my PC and me
It's not the equipment you have. It's what you can do with it that counts.

Dang Squarebear. I thought I was low key when I only used Cool Edit and Fruityloops. I know that with Cool Edit, any sound you can reproduce, you can use in Fruity Loops, but I didn't think of that as a professional setup.

I use buzz for all my tracking.. it is an incredible open source program..

For recording live samples, which I do use a lot, I have soundforge. The samples are mostly percussive, and occasionally I'll use a bass guitar with an overdrive to help write basslines

My vocals are done in a proper studio by my singers who then send them to me as high quality mp3 files. I import them into fruityloops and work from there.
