yeah Sentai is just the Japanese (sort of equivalent to power rangers),I think that the story lines are better.

Yeah, Saban tried to play that **** back a long ass time ago.

It ****ing failed horribly. Don't recall ever seeing it, but I do know for sure that it wasn't around for long, but Power Rangers is still here.

Regarding the Super Sentai series being better, I haven't seen it. Now, I like things from Japan just as much as the next guy, but who cares? It's not like the Japanese version could possibly have THAT much more depth that it's worth trying to read subtitles during an action sequence.

And just so you know, I'm probably the biggest Power Rangers fan you'll find on this site. If you're looking for real discussion of that nature, you'd be better off elsewhere.

Oh... favorite season of Power Rangers? Probably 2nd season. First is good but kind of flat, and third had those silly ninja costumes. After that they got into time warp **** where everyone was a kid, MIGHTY MORPHIN' ALIEN RANGERS, Zeo Rangers, and it was downhill from there. Most of the other new **** just sucks, but Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder were pretty damn good. I don't want to see a super human police force. I want to see a group of seemingly normal people who use their secret super powers to defend against evil.

ps have you seen the Power Rangers theme remix in FFR? It's in Misc. Genre. It's also playable in Spin It Up, but I'm not sure of its difficulty level.

Even if Power Rangers are better, fact that Sentai are Japanese automatically relegates them as the better. It's a well documented fact, the validity of which I can personally attest.

I watched I think two episodes of Alien Rangers while it was showing. Why? WHY?
Only half an episode of Zeo... it seemed kinda cool. I think. Mighty Morphin' owned. Saw every episode. Turbo was okay.
But dude, the REAL stuff was at In Space. Power Rangers In Space was SO AWESOME. I honestly think that if you take all the best story arcs and enemies and add some awesome actors and remove that distinctly-Power-Rangers scent, it would be the greatest thing ever and so many people would watch it.

Or maybe I'm insane.

I haven't watched anything past Lost Galaxy. Has it really gotten better?

What? I mean... In Space was alright, but they definitely did not seem like normal people. They were supposed to have been in High School, but did they ever go to school? Even if they did, THEY LIVED IN ****ING SPACE AND THAT IS DEFINITELY NOT NORMAL.

I stopped watching for real then too. The thing that really hit me was that I had a connection to the characters that kept coming back season after season. When Lost Galaxy didn't have any of those characters, I was just like "**** this".

They really did well with a few shows after though, especially lately. Like I already said, Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder were fantastic. SPD went back to the "super powered police force" formula, so naturally I hated it. Uh... let's see... I only saw a few episodes of Mystic Force, but it seemed alright.

I think they went to school every now and then. And the black ranger when to a picture booth. For some reason I remember that vividly.


I agree fully with this first paragraph. That might be why I stopped watching. I don't know. I just know it got boring then.
ALTHOUGH, the whole thing about reoccurring characters not coming back in Lost Galaxy, not totally true. What's-her-face (SPOILER: the villain in In Space, aka the Red Ranger's sister) came back to take the Pink Ranger's place partway through 'cause the Pink Ranger got dead. Or something.

Hm, I should try Ninja Storm or Dino Thunder sometime. Just to check it out. I did hear about Tommy, though. :O
