    Making Music

    Okay, for Christmas this year I got a keyboard. I don't take piano lessons, so I decided to make up my own music to the keyboard. At first, my songs sucked, but now that I'm getting the hang of it, it's really fun, and my family and friends all think my music's great. So, do any of you guys make your own music? It doesn't have to be with a keyboard, it can be with any instrument, like a guitar or something, or do any of you play in a band? If so, what instrument? If you don't make your own music, what is your outlook on music?
    What's you favorite bands, or do you know anyone that makes his/her own music? Music is a wonderful thing and I think it should be a part of everyone's lives at some point.

      Well, I'm going to try making my own music with this program I have on this computer, probably in about a month from now, when I should finally have time for it. I think music is really cool. Also, you might want to consider reading the descriptions of the different forums before making a new thread.

          Every once in a while, I get some ideas, and just start writin' the music. It's always classical, though, since I most often play in orchestra. String Bass, by the way.

          I also do some stuff on guitar, but the last time I did that was about two years ago.

              I play in a band. Most of our stuff is composed by our drummer (ironically). I tried composing myself, but it always sounds like pop-rock or pop-punk.

                      I play guitar in a band and I compose most of the music, however it's subject to change once we all practice together if anyone feels something might be different. For my band I write mainly rock, mostly a punk/hard rock sound. When I'm just writing stuff for my own use it's usually blues or metal, but I'm much better at blues.
