    Naruto Shippūden(Hurricane Chronicles)

    Felt this deserves a new thread. This is technically a new series IMO.

    I felt like watching a new series after a 1 hour premier and not a continuation of Naruto unless you mean a lot earlier Naruto when it didn't suck. I liked it. I won't spoil anything but I am the one who skipped all the fillers.

    This appears to be done by different studio or they have a lot more budget now.

    The plot of the second part of the manga and anime series Naruto, titled Naruto: Shippūden (疾風伝, Shippūden? lit. Hurricane Chronicles) in the anime and simply Part II in the manga, is set two and a half years later after the present timeline in Part I, and revolves mainly around Naruto Uzumaki's and Sakura Haruno's new adventures and their search for Sasuke Uchiha after he left Konoha to gain Orochimaru's power. The plot also shows a more active Akatsuki in their quest for obtaining all the tailed beasts. The anime adaptation of the manga started airing on February 15, 2007, premiering with the first two episodes debuting in a one hour special.

      I watched it today, I really like it. Was cool to see Naruto grown up a bit and that. Can't wait to see what Naruto learned on his 2 year training.

          I really like the opening. And I'm happy that there will be no more discussing Deidara (the blond haired one with the mouth 'in' his hand) being male or female. His voice over confirms it, he's male.

              I also watched it today, but I didnt like how it ended. It made want to watch more. I mean come on it ended right before they were about to fight. Any way it's pretty cool to see them grownup and stuff. I hope they dont head into any fillers (of course they are)

                      Naruto's new move better kick serious ass. I hope it doesn't evolve around shadow replication. That move has been wrung dry and rat tailed too much.

                          Finally the fillers are over. I've never liked Naruto a whole lot but I like Part 2 in the manga so maybe part 2 in the anime will be good as well.

                              I take it Squall you haven't read the Manga at all. Finally glad the fillers are over, and hopefully the series doesn't cut out too much from the manga. Looks like a promising start from the 2309802983 episodes break in between.

                                      I ****ing flipped when i remember the Hurricane Chronicles came out yesterday. I went back to the site every hour to see when the subbed version game out....I dont get how people say Sai looks like Sasuke...AND BUBBLY KYUUBI WENT POP!....>_>

                                          Omg it was so cool!!! I can't wait to see Naruto and Sakura's new moves. And yeah hopefully they won't base the whole new series off shadow replications XD.

                                              When's the next one out? Is it going to be 22nd or do they air them more often than once a week

                                              Really want to see how well clever Shikamaru is and that, Looking forward to Rock Lee most.

                                                  In before Squeek jumps this thread. It's gonna get merged with the old Naruto one. He already clearly stated that all types of Naruto discussion will go in that one thread (it's not the treasure in the media forum).

                                                          Great. I absolutely loved the fact that it WASN'T a filler. Fillers were mind numbing. But yea, it was pretty good watching the first ep.
