I managed to get into my High School's Academic Hall of Fame. It wasn't really much of a feat though. To get in, one had to score a 1270 (I got a 1290) on the SAT. I came in number 9 out of 10.
It's cool and all knowing that I did well compared to the people in my school, and that I had somewhat competitive scores when I took it once last year while they've taken it multiple time, including this year. But they had some incredible scores. Number one score a 1560.
Beside basically being in at Texas Tech (I just need to get around to applying, and right now I plan on going to the local college for a couple years, depending) I get the fabulous prize of getting in the year book! with a list of my accomplishments(and I can't think of any =/ )
It's a nice honor that was completely unexpected. I mean, I knew I had a alright score, but I didn't know it ranked with the brightest of my class.
