    Void

    So like new song.

    Comments please.

I'd prefer to comments to be more on the production side of things, as that's where I'm tying to improve in right now.

I thought maybe the compression on your saw wasn't strong enough, as I think it's drowning your hats out. I wouldn't really recommend turning down the higher freqs on that saw though, I think that would make it lose the gritty edge that is enjoyable.

Actually maybe just like the very very top end of that saw.

    Pretty generic though, kinda maybe?

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. The song definitely didn't jump out at me, and it felt really... unoriginal. This is the kind of stuff I'd hear late at night on the local radio stations.

      And I hate that stuff.
put on a donk on it

Man, I wish I had radio stations that played this stuff. All I get is mainstream, and I don't like mainstream.

          Sweet mother of God

          Those were some LOW frequencies.

Production value is always. The mid frequencies seem to get blurred near the end with the high-hats, making them seem extra high. That's something you never want in a song.

Also, just a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit too much compression on the drums, it offsets the volume level and makes the rest of the song sound static-y when it's going at full force.

          Nice jorb, though.

Edit: The sudo-pad-chord near the end slightly sounds wrong. Might wanna fix that.
Edit2: You know that bass at the beginning? Not sure if it's a saw or not. For some reason, methinks it needs more reverb.

Yeah, that pretty much always happens in all of my tracks. Just fixed it with the OHH though, will try on the CHHs later.

            Yep. >_<

I was going for a kinda Pop-Trance sound. Trying to diversify myself with other genres besides Hard Trance, you know?

            Uh?

Anyways, thanks for the tips guys. I'll post a new version probably Saturday. I'm going to add some more stuff by the time I'm finished.

I think Starshot and I were hearing the same thing, just going about the fix in different ways.
