    How to insert movies to background.

    Wondering why movies don't play?
    The solution is to convert the video to .avi format.


    First download a video convertor.
    Free Downloads Center - Page not found
    http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Best/freeware-wmv.html

    (using a trial version is fine it sill works the same)

    Install it.


    Next open up your video in WMK(windows Movie Maker) Go to

    File>Import Collections

    After your movie is imported, Click Timeline and drag your movie there.

    Clip>Audio>Mute
    Mute your video

    After, press ctrl+P to save it to a Windows Media Movie File

    Open up the Convertor and insert your wmv file into the conversion box. Convert it.


    After you're done converting it copy (ctrl+C) and paste(ctrl+V) into your song folder.

    Open Stepmania go to your song and press "B" in the selections there should be your movie file....


    I think you know the rest.

          Regular users can't edit the titles of their threads, though. I do agree that it's helpful.

                  I believe it's a .wmv, not a .wmp. Otherwise, helpful.

                              Yea. I tried basically all the things that are common sense.

                              EDIT- I forgot to add that you dont need to mute the movie manually. SM does it automatically.
