Re: I dare you to bid on this.
$1? Not even close. Maybe if you found them used at a garage sale, but on ebay? Shit no, son. Especially since shipping would be at least $3 per game. But also, each game has their own value. All the worthwhile games go around $10 or a little under. The more rare games can go upwards of $20-$30, using Final Fantasy as a base. The Dragon Warrior games, sepcifically II, III, and IV go for a bit of cash. Unlicensed carts such as Action 52 bring in a pretty penny too (Action 52 actually climbing near $100) but this is only for licensed carts. Leading up to the gold Nintendo World Cup cart which actually goes upwards of $15,000. Regular Nintendo World Cup carts go for around $5000. The catch with that cart was that you had to have won it in a contest. Not that this auction actually contains it.
I'm not exactly trying to justify the cost of the auction but there's no way you'd ever get all those games for just $670 + price of system + accessories (some rare too, like ROB which exceeds $100). A lot of the draw to this would be the shipping price and volume of the auction. Obviously you aren't just going to happen upon 670 games at a garage sale and it would take at least a year (come on, it would take longer) to just find them. Buying them from separate ebay auctions would mean getting fucked by shipping price. Convenient and easy.
Personally, even if I had the money I would never even look in to this since a majority of the games are as fun as punching your own nuts through your mouth. I have my own personal collection which is like 30 carts + GOLF (Can't sell it on ebay).Last edited by Kenzya; 01-31-2007, 11:30 PM.Comment

"The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the minimum bid or reserve amount."
