I'm a newbie to the FFR forums, but I've been in graphic design for about eight months now. I use GIMP 2.2.13 and occasionally contribute to the project (besides showing my work with the program), so if you want some tips or anything, feel free to PM me.

My first photo manipulation, when I started seriously getting into the GIMP project. This holds some sentimental value.
Girls love him, and Disneyphiles can't get enough of the movie.
This is Pericles. He's my dog, and I love him more than just about anything. I got a Nikon COOLPIX L3 for the holidays, so the day after I took pictures. Surprisingly, he sat real pretty.
This was a piece where I began to experiment with different effects and make a photo mine. Yes, Mariah Carey.
An experiment with a serious foreground effect. It was met with mixed opinions.
I think we all hate this girl, but it was the only good stock I had on me at the time. I like the effects, though.

Love Diane. Here's where I started really getting to finding my own trademark style.
Evangeline Lilly. Building on the techniques that went into the previous endeavour.
