    Gap at beginning of song?

I just finished stepping a song for inclusion in FFR...
However, I remember reading somewhere that there needs to be at least 2 seconds of no song and no notes for FFR to play it properly. Is this true?

    Yes.

The first two seconds will be cut off, so putting steps there is pointless.

Re: Gap at beginning of song?

Would it be sufficient to just change the offset from -0.034 to -2.034, and using Soundforge to delay the song by 2 seconds?

Or does FFR not use offset, therefore I should be having blank measures?

I suggest you just remove steps for the first few seconds

        It's not a big deal

Not the steps I'm worried about so much, as the song itself. I dunno if the author put some form of protection or something on it, but Soundforge can't open it it like the rest.
