    Gave proof through the night,
That our flag was still there.
Oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave,
O'er the land of the free, and the home of the brave.

Once upon a time, there lived a boy named Synthlight. He lived in a small house and he had a small computer. He had never known his father and whenever he pressured his mother as to who his father was she was quick to change the subject. Deep inside he felt that there was something direly wrong with his origins. Sometimes, late at night, he could almost feel the tainted blood of the man that sired him coursing through his veins. This feeling grew stronger and stronger until one sleepless night he made a vow to reveal his father's true identity, no matter the cost.
