I recently seen a Linkin Park Fans thread, and it got locked of course. But I was thinking, a good band is Rise Against, so lets hear what you think about them and maybe your favorite song and why?
Lets not forget the work they have done for PETA2 with the song "ready To Fall" with the chilling music video about animal abuse and climate shift, that was banned off television. They have also done promotions and other work in this general area. Their political stance is what also fuels the fire for this band. This is one of the few bands that takes the time to sing about all of these and more, showing the world what they need to say.
Their vocals and guitar melodies generate a powerful force in the alternative rock music scene. The drumming and bass are also reasons to give a second listen to this band.
I personally own 4 of their cd's, and could not be happier. My favorite songs from them are:
Heaven Knows (Revolutions Per Minute)
Paper Wings (Siren Song of the Counter Culture)
Tip The Scales (Siren Song of the Counter Culture)
Prayer of The Refugee (The Sufferer & The Witness)
The Good Left Undone (The Sufferer & The Witness)
(bolded song is my all time favorite song out of any band)
