    Warsow a fast paced first person shooter(arena), ITS FREE!

    This is really cool game I downloaded,if you ever games like Quake 3 or Unreal Tournament you would love this game, and best of all its free!
    www.warsow.netWarsow is a first person shooter (FPS) game designed for online play. Many games, as detailed below, have inspired warsow yet it is its own unique game. Similarities to Quake 3 CPMA and Unreal Tournament games are probably the most evident. The team has sought to create a fun, fast, action-packed game which may be seen as a critique of the many realistic, slow, warfare-orientated FPS's that saturate todays FPS market Standalone game for Windows and Linux under General Public License
    3D Engine based on Qfusion (a modification of Quake 2 GPL engine)
    eSport oriented FPS
    Gameplay focused on speed, trick jumps and art of move
    Complete Power-up system, including exclusive weak and strong fire mode for each gun
    Cartoonish graphics, mixing Cyberpunk / Industrial / SciFi themes
    References: Quakeworld, Quake3 CPMA, Jet Set Radio (sorry I have no pics,hope you like it!)

      I can testify that this is a pretty awesome game.

      Not for anyone who doesn't like cel-shading, or complex movement.

          87x(I think) showed this game to me like, I dunno, a year ago?

          I played it and really didn't like it.

              I don't really like it that much but it's okay.
              There is a 50% chance your pillow will eat you while you are sleeping.

                  Warsow is alright, but it gets a bit boring after awhile.

                      I think the reason why You guys dont like it is because you guys probably (because its way faster than quake or unreal) SUCK at it lol
                      its not quite that boring especially when you play in online leagues weekly such as the CAL or GGL

                          That isn't always the reason. I'm saying that there are more exciting online shooters out there.

                              I'm just saying the game sucks. I don't think I even died before I quit. I played several maps, too.

                                  You're missing a part of the game then, as the game play is a refined version of one of the most celebrated FPSs out there (Quake 3).

                                      Yeah I know I play CPMA(and regular Quake 3) also (I just wanted to try something new
                                      -Hope Unreal Tournament 2007 will be good

                                          Just downloaded it. Not a bad game.

                                          Very fast pace, different from most free fps out there at the moment. Ping control was good. Also like how you can change color you character to 1 solid color. Amazing.

                                          Graphics wern't too bad. They can use a little touch up though. The only thing that really bothered me was the lack of weapon choice. I think for a fps like this it needs more of a variety.

                                          Good game, chances are I will play it for a while then just give up completly.
