Are you sure Cubase didn't come with a pdf manual? I know Reason does - it should be in the start menu.
The manuals should have very specific info about hooking up your keyboard and getting it working in their respective programs. It is very basic functionality.
And yes, you can use Reason 'inside' of Cubase using the rewire protocol. Basically it syncs the the two programs up and pipes Reason's audio output into Cubase's audio engine.
