I think I'll check it out before new year. I've heard nothing but good about the film so far. I just have to get in a certain frame of mind to watch films like that though.

It's supposed to be Will Smith's best film ever made.

It truly was Will Smiths best performance.

          A great movie.

Pursuit of Happyness, The: A poor man tries to become a rich man in this rags to tatters story of a down on his luck father, played by Will Smith. The entire movie, I was wondering, "Well, how much worse could it be for him?" and I was pretty much constantly shaking my head. Will Smith puts in a dogged effort as Christopher Gardner, who tries to land a job at prestigious "Dean-Whitter" stock brokerage. Long stretches of tedium mar the story - the more interesting pieces focus on the office (while the film focuses on his son) but tedium does not a bad movie make. 7/10
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."

"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor

            Maledictions: The Offering.

            Now in Paperback!

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Never been a huge Will Smith fan, but I was pretty impressed with the job he did with this one.

Anyone know how closely the movie stuck to the true story? I'm curious to know how much they exaggerated and whatnot.
